Recipe for Baked Feta Pasta



 Baked Feta Pasta

Ingredients:

8 ounces cherry tomatoes

1 block of feta cheese

1/4 cup olive oil

3 cloves garlic, minced

1/2 teaspoon dried basil

1/2 teaspoon dried oregano

1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

Salt and pepper to taste

8 ounces cooked pasta (such as penne or fusilli)

Fresh basil leaves, for garnish

Instructions:


Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).


In a baking dish, combine the cherry tomatoes, feta cheese, olive oil, minced garlic, dried basil, dried oregano, red pepper flakes (if using), salt, and pepper.


Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, or until the tomatoes are burst and the cheese has softened and slightly browned.


While the feta mixture is baking, cook the pasta according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.


Once the feta mixture is done baking, remove it from the oven and use a fork to mash the tomatoes and feta together until well combined and creamy.


Add the cooked pasta to the feta-tomato mixture and toss until the pasta is coated evenly.


Garnish with fresh basil leaves and serve hot.
